WIZARD CAMP! These campers were amazing! We worked with Sarah Ward’s Get ready, Do,Done framework to plan magical missions, make wizard potions, build magic mirrors and wizard forts. This framework helps children to plan with the end in mind. Working on time management, planning and organizing. They were also great team players and so much fun!🪄❤️

Getting ready for that summer roadtrip? Here are some OT recommended screen free ideas for the car. A weighted lap pad with storage, calming and grounding. Magnetic blocks, puzzles and magnatiles. If you are in the airport this luggage scooter! Great heavy work and get rid of all that pent up energy. Get them all on Amazon

We’ve been working a lot on transitions lately. Check out these great tips from The Inspired Treehouse

Why are transitions so tough for kids?

It’s not just that they “don’t want to stop playing.” There are real developmental reasons behind those tricky moments between activities:

⏰ They don’t fully understand time
🧠 Executive functioning skills are still developing
💥 Emotional regulation can be hard, especially when they’re asked to stop something they love
❓Not knowing what’s next can feel overwhelming

If you’ve seen tears, refusals, or big feelings during transitions… you’re not alone. The struggle is real—and it’s valid.
