✨ Happy 80th Birthday, Ruth Ann! ✨

We were honoured to hold Ruth Ann’s 80th birthday celebration at The Bell Tower this weekend. Ruth Ann and her family shared such meaningful stories that brought St. Jude’s history to life — and reminded us how deeply connected this space is to the community.

Ruth Ann was a member of the St. Jude’s congregation from childhood until it closed, alongside her mother, who was also an active member. She spent many Sundays here attending — and later teaching — Sunday school in the back room.

This is also where she married her husband, and where her children later attended Sunday school in the ’70s. They also fondly remember the many church bazaars held in the back room.

Holding her milestone birthday felt like welcoming home a piece of the building’s own story. Thank you to Ruth Ann and her family for celebrating with us — and for reminding us just how special this place truly is. 💛

✨ 2 workshops, one magical winter day!✨

Today we welcomed 32 festive makers for our two sold-out winter wreath workshops. 🌲

Our morning crew kept things warm and cozy with coffee, baked goodies, and all the comfy vibes. ☕🍪

Then our afternoon group turned up the cheer with a fabulous wine tasting led by Ange from Peller Estates Winery and let’s just say the Christmas spirit was flowing.

A HUGE shoutout to Amanda from Amanda’s Bloomin’ Buckets for guiding everyone through the magic. ✨ She is so talented, creative, and kind and her patience helping everyone bring their vision to life is truly amazing!

Restorative Yoga & Acupuncture: where stillness meets connection

Join Rachel & Stacey at The Bell Tower for a restorative yoga and acupuncture journey designed to ease the body and quiet the mind. In this gentle practice, supported postures and mindful stillness combine with the subtle power of acupuncture to soothe the nervous system, release tension, and restore balance.

In community, this healing energy expands. Together, we create a field of shared calm – softening the edges, encouraging deep relaxation, and strengthening the sense of connection within yourself and with others.

All are welcome. Participants remain clothed, with acupuncture points on the head, arms, and legs used to support overall wellness.

Your Facilitators:

Stacey Hess has been a registered acupuncturist since 2013, providing compassionate, evidence-based care supported by over a decade of clinical expertise.

Rachel McGarry is a dedicated yoga & meditation teacher (RYT-1000), mantra artist, and Reiki & sound healing practitioner who uses music and sound to bring people to a place of peace and deep rest.
