Boccia Nova Scotia Referee Training!
On April 11th and 12th, a dedicated group of Boccia Nova Scotia volunteers and one talented and graceful player 😁completed the Boccia Referee Course in Halifax. It was an intense, hands-on, and genuinely fun learning experience for everyone. We were fortunate to have Eileen Bartlett from Newfoundland-a Boccia Canada course facilitator - lead the training. Her expertise and passion for the sport made the weekend both educational and inspiring.
This course is an important step as we prepare for the Atlantic Boccia Challenge on May 16th in Halifax. Our newly trained Referees and volunteers are gaining the knowledge and confidence needed to support this exciting regional event.
Boccia is an amazing, inclusive sport, and we're proud to continue building capacity and growing the game in Nova Scotia. Learn more about the Atlantic Boccia Challenge at boccianovascotia.com
