WHAT IS A NEUROMODULATOR?

Neuromodulators are prescription injectable medications used in aesthetic medicine. Examples available in Canada include BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, Xeomin®, Nuceiva®, and others.

They work by temporarily relaxing targeted facial muscles that contribute to certain expression lines. This may help:

*Soften the appearance of dynamic lines (lines that form with facial movement), such as frown lines and crow’s feet
