Robyn and Monika, co-founders of Mint Cleaning, an award-winning eco-friendly home and body care brand based in Ucluelet, BC.

What started as a local cleaning company quickly evolved into something much bigger. After experiencing the harmful effects of traditional cleaning products, they were determined to create safer, plant-based alternatives that actually worked. 

They’ve been featured on Dragons’ Den, where 4 out of 5 dragons wanted a deal, and they proudly partnered with Brian Scudamore from 1-800 Got Junk. Along the way, they’ve won multiple awards and launched into over 250 retail locations across Canada.

Did you know 20% kills w**ds?

Indeed, 20% vinegar, commonly referred to as horticultural vinegar, is highly effective in eliminating w**ds. It has a stronger concentration than regular household vinegar (which contains 5% acetic acid) and can tackle a broader variety of w**ds, particularly younger ones. However, it’s crucial to remember that vinegar acts as a non-selective herbicide, meaning it will destroy any plant it touches, not just w**ds.

We only have few 4L jugs left, we run out every year! We do have 40 Litre on refill, bring in your old w**d killer containers to fill up!

Did you know that 20% vinegar kills w**ds?

Vinegar that contains a higher concentration of acetic acid is more effective at controlling w**ds. Standard household vinegar usually has a 5% acetic acid concentration, while some herbicidal vinegar products contain 20% acetic acid. Overall, the 20% acetic acid option is more potent as it more thoroughly destroys young leaves and growth points.

Front load washer gaskets, ewww gross, a couple of sprays and the nasties disappear. Your kid’s hockey gear, spray it! Your area rugs, spray them. Green bins, blue bins and garbage bins, spray them!
