I was embarrassed to post this at first… because of the number. But you know what? F@&$ it — I’m PROUD of myself.

Today, I hit a major milestone: I’m officially under 200 pounds! This is just the first of several goals I’ve set for myself, and I’ve been showing up every single day — with intention, consistency, and a whole lot of sweat.

From focusing on my nutrition to squeezing in home cardio (sometimes with a little one running around!), I’ve stayed committed. But the real game-changer? Strength training. It’s changed my body and my mindset — and I owe so much of that to my trainer, Chantz (), and my amazing husband () who makes sure I have the time to show up for me.

Here’s to strong bodies, strong minds, and strong mamas. We’re just getting started.

Life update ✨

The past few months have been a whirlwind! I made the tough but brave decision to leave a job I loved, and I’m now in a new role with no travel—allowing me to be more present for my family.

Through all the chaos, I’ve really focused on staying committed to eating well and exercising consistently. Since August, I’ve completed over 110 personal training sessions! 💪 On the days I don’t work with my trainer I try and get in a session on my elliptical and squat machine.

The weight loss may be slow, but it’s steady, and I’m hitting new weight lows every day since having Kian. The journey is all about sustainability, not speed.

I’m feeling stronger, healthier, and mentally clearer than ever—and honestly, that’s all I can ask for right now. ✨

UPDATE!

It’s been 6 months of working with a personal trainer and hitting the gym three times a week, and I’m definitely feeling stronger! While the daily grind still takes a mental toll, I’m trying something new this week: Factor meals. I’ve had three so far, and I’m honestly really impressed! It’s taken a huge burden off my plate—literally! No more meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking, or cleaning for my own meals... I only have to handle that for my son (but his requests are pretty simple). Thankfully, my husband enjoys making his own meals, so that’s one less thing to worry about. It’s already freed up so much mental space, and since meal prep has been one of my biggest hurdles, I’m hopeful this will make a big difference!

Hey everyone! 🙋‍♀️ I know I’ve been a little absent lately, but I’ve been working on ME! 💪 For the past few months, I’ve been committed to working with my amazing personal trainer 3 days a week, and let me tell you, it’s been life-changing since I started in August.

Today was a big moment for me… I weighed myself for the first time since November and honestly, I was nervous. 😬 Christmas has its way of sneaking in some extra treats, right? 😅 But guess what?! I am now at my LOWEST WEIGHT since Kian was born!! 🎉

I’m so proud of the progress I’ve made, even though the journey isn’t over. There’s still work to do, but I’m beyond proud of myself for making my health a priority. 💖

Here’s to an even bigger and better 2025! 🥂 Stay tuned as I keep crushing it on this journey. And hey, feel free to join me for the ride! We got this! ✨

I Like Ranch!!!

I know ranch isn’t the healthiest option, but I’ve found a way to make it a healthier addition to my meals. By mixing half a cup of plain Greek yogurt with just one tablespoon of ranch, I get the same creamy, delicious flavor with much fewer calories and more nutrition. Yum!

Update!

I have been diligently working with my personal trainer 3 days a week! I have gotten so much stronger! I feel better! My back pain has pretty much dissipated!

I am also really focusing on keeping my body moving everyday :) I make sure to go for a ride on the horse, use my treadmill while working, get a walk in… sometimes I even manage to squeeze in all of those activities!

The rewarding part is that I can feel the progress! Today I was on the move non stop and I feel great! My body doesn’t feel completely worn out… a few months ago a day like today would have been SO HARD!

Here’s to progress, not perfection!

Truth Bomb!

It's perfectly okay to ask for help! To all the amazing mothers out there who manage to juggle everything on their own—hats off to you! You’re incredible. But if that’s not you, know you’re not alone. I absolutely love being a mom, but lately, I find it hard to muster the mental energy to plan and stick to workouts. Between managing clothing sizes, meal planning, snack stocking, and diaper refills, my brain just reaches its limit.

Here’s the good news: I recognized this and took action! Two weeks ago, I started working with a personal trainer three times a week. All I have to do is show up at a scheduled time, and the rest is taken care of. Maybe I won’t need this forever, but it’s exactly what I need right now.

So, acknowledge when you need support and make yourself a priority! Whether it’s a little extra motivation from walking with a friend or any other form of help, don’t hesitate to ask for it. Find what works for you and embrace it!

Update!

I will start up the weekly walks again in the fall! With all the summer activities there is a lot on the go :)

I will also keep you all posted once I have my standing desk/walking pad combo set up!

For the group walk this week... it looks like a possibility of a thunderstorm. With that being said, I will make a relatively last minute decision and make a post tomorrow or Thursday morning :)
