The linked video is a really simple neck stretch routine. I've tried it myself and found it to be very effective. Also, it's worth noting that Dr. Jo, the physiotherapist who is featured in this video, has lots of great material. She is my 'go to' when I'm looking for specific stretches.

The inspiration for this video was a fellow yoga student this evening who is finding stiffness radiating into the shoulders. However, these moves are great for people also suffering from stress and tension headaches. Should out to Krista at Shagrocker Yoga who, in my opinion, is doing us all a great community service by getting us out and stretching!

It seems I am often sending the same videos and information to many of my clients individually. It was suggested that I start posting them for all to benefit...

I found this video earlier this week, and tried it myself to see how it felt. I think it's a great place to start for people who feel tightness through the hips...like when you're trying to put your socks on or sit cross legged.

Dear Clinic Friends and Family,

My sincere apologies as I know there are quite a few of you waiting for appointments and rebooking. I have been out of commission for a couple days and am struggling to find appointment slots as I am starting vacation soon to spend time with visiting family. Thank you Everyone, for your patience and consideration as I recovered from my illness. I am officially back in the clinic now, although still ramping up slowly. Please continue to be patient as I start the process of rebooking those that I had to cancel over the last 10 days. I truly appreciate you all!

Dear Clients

As some of you are aware (unfortunately because I have had to cancel your appointments), the clinic has been closed all week due to my unfortunate case of pneumonia.

Please trust that I want to get back to work as quickly as I can. However, It would be unethical to open the clinic until it is safe for both of us. I continue to have a very productive cough which indicates that I am still contagious. Once that resolves, I will need to ramp up slowly over a few days to build up strength again.

If there is anything I can help with in the mean time, via a virtual means, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Unfortunately the clinic will be closed for the week of July 25 to July 29 due to isolation requirements after getting a positive COVID test. I will be in touch over the next few days to try and get everyone rebooked. Be well!
