I'm a lucky person!
I have warm clothes to protect me from the cold, I have a safe place to come home to, I have a roof above my head and enough food to sustain me....
It's cold out there.... And this February I'm going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I'll be walking and fundraising to support families and people who are much less fortunate than I am. Families and people who are experiencing hurt, hunger and homelessness in my community.

Day 10 of 12 Days of Wellbeing!
For the 12 Days leading up to Christmas, I will share a suggestion, to help you find some calm, small joys and mindfulness in the busy-ness.

Day 6 in our 12 Days of Wellbeing: Kindness.

Kindness can open doors, soothe hearts that are hurting, calm frayed nerves and help someone (including yourself!) to continue through their day.

Try it. Consciously try it, and don't forget to speak kindly to yourself as well!!
It might feel like a small thing, but can mean the world to someone who needs it!

Sleep is one of our basic needs, to help with our feeling of wellbeing. How well are you taking care of this need?
I am a great bedtime procrastinator, but every now and then it feels like an amazing luxury, to crawl into bed early, snuggle up under the blankets and read!

It doesn't have to be something big, as long as it is something that is just for you. A walk on your own, stopping by that cute little shop that you have wanted to check out for a while, slipping into the gallery, to see the new exhibit that you read something about online, just being by yourself, doing something that is your first choice to do.
