Leticia Osei Psychotherapy

Leticia Osei Psychotherapy Licensed Canadian Counsellor dedicated to helping people work through trauma, anxiety, ADHD, depression, autism, and workplace issues. I AM HERE TO HELP!

I offer wellness workshops to organizations in promoting the mental well-being of their employees. You’ve been wanting to tell your story all along; you just needed someone who cares enough to listen without judgment. I’m Leticia. My primary goal is to provide individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, parenting issues, anger management issues, divorce, workplace racism/bullying, addiction, low self-esteem, and self-blame with a welcoming and safe environment to share their stories. By approaching your experiences from a strength-based, non-blaming, and non-pathological perspective, we can work together to explore the various aspects of your narrative and how they may have contributed to your current challenges. My background as a Registered Nurse has given me a unique perspective on mental health. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) I believe that mental health is not a linear phenomenon, but rather a multifaceted one that requires a holistic approach to address colonization, racism, trauma, and oppression. I use Emotion Focused Therapy in a culturally sensitive manner to help you express your thoughts, feelings, and emotions in a way that allows you to speak your truth, regain your power, and move forward with your life

Throughout our therapeutic journey, I will incorporate Trauma-Informed, Cognitive Behavioral, and Psychodynamic Therapy to help you understand the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we will create a treatment plan that is holistic, practical, culturally sensitive, and based on evidence-based practices. I would be honoured to be the vessel through which you can heal the parts of yourself that have been holding you back from living a fully functioning life. Price Range
$170 per session

When we start acknowledging our emotions as experiences, not inconveniences, we begin to heal from a place of understanding. 💔→💝

Your sadness doesn’t owe you growth. Your grief doesn’t have to make you grateful.

Write yourself a permission slip:
• To feel without timeline ⏰
• To feel without productivity 📈
• To feel without performance 🎭

What permission slip do you need today? 👇

Internalized shame can feel unbearably heavy. 😔 It whispers that you’re “not enough,” pushes you to hide, and isolates you from the people and support you need. 💔

It can appear after divorce 💔, abuse 🥀, exploring your sexual orientation 🌈, giving birth 🤱, or changes in your body ⚖️, quietly shaping your emotional health, self-esteem, and relationships.

You are not your shame. 💛 Healing begins when you acknowledge it, speak your truth, and allow yourself to be seen. ✨

I empathize with the weight you’re carrying.

So often, grief shows up in ways the world doesn’t see. It’s the silent ache carried from past trauma 💔, the heaviness of childhood dreams that never unfolded 🌱, or the quiet longing for the “what could have been.”

This is invisible grief, the kind that doesn’t get acknowledged with sympathy cards or casseroles, yet still weighs deeply on our hearts. Your pain is real, valid, and worthy of healing. 💜

What is one loss or longing in your life that others might not see, but that still carries weight in your heart?

🌿 Grounding Practice:
Take a deep breath in 🌬, placing your hand gently over your chest 🤲. As you exhale, whisper to yourself: “Even if no one else sees it, my grief matters.” Repeat this three times, allowing your body to soften a little more with each breath. 🌸

Even in the quiet corners of invisible grief, strength is quietly taking root. 🌱 Healing doesn’t mean forgetting, it means allowing yourself to grow gently, at your own pace, into what comes next.

Your nervous system is not your enemy. 💙
The same responses that once kept you safe can sometimes feel overwhelming now, but healing begins when we stop fighting our body and start listening with compassion.

If you’ve felt hypervigilant, dissociated, or stuck in survival mode, know this: you don’t have to push or bully yourself back to safety. Small moments of noticing, acknowledging, and gently regulating can open the door to healing. 🌱

This Labor Day, let’s honor not just the work we do, but the rest we deserve.

🌿 Your mental health isn’t a luxury it’s essential. Whether you’re taking a full day off or just a few mindful moments, remember that rest is productive, boundaries are healthy, and you are more than your to-do list.

Here’s to working hard AND taking care of ourselves. 💙

Your body carries a memory deeper than words.
Sometimes the panic, the tension, the “overreactions” aren’t random, they’re your body protecting you, even when your mind doesn’t remember why.

✨ Healing begins when we stop asking “What’s wrong with me?” and start asking “What is my body trying to tell me?”

Your body is not your enemy. It’s your oldest companion, holding both your pain and your path to healing. 💙

👉 Swipe through this post to discover the wisdom your body holds, and how to begin listening with compassion.
