***FLU SHOTS ARE COMING***

Happy Thanksgiving! New Care Pharmacy will be receiving and administering flu shots (regular & high-dose) starting MONDAY OCTOBER 18.

Read below to find out who is eligible and how to register at New Care Pharmacy:

*****ELIGIBILITY:
- Age: 2+ years old
- Bring health card
OR if out-of-province visitor: ID & proof of Ontario address/work/school
- October will PRIORITIZE: hospital patients & staff, long-term care residents & staff, health care providers, and individuals in GROUP 1 (link: https://www.health.gov.on.ca/en/pro/programs/publichealth/flu/uiip/default.aspx)
- November onward: general population

*****REGISTERING FOR FLU SHOT:
*Option 1: APPOINTMENT-BASED:
- Pre-register at https://newcarepharmacy.medmeapp.ca/schedule/
- Wait to receive a booking link to sign up for specific date/time

*Option 2: WALK-IN:
- Wait times & availabilities will vary depending on # of scheduled appointments, queued prescriptions, and flu shot doses remaining

Hope everyone is having a safe and happy holiday! To comply with COVID-19 by-laws, New Care Pharmacy will now be limiting the number of customers in the store to *3*. This will help facilitate social distancing of 2 m and limit the spread of the virus.

Flu shots for the 2020/2021 seasons have arrived and the pharmacy is starting to take appointments! We are hosting a FLU CLINIC this upcoming Thursday October 15.
CALL the pharmacy at 905-830-0739 today to book an appointment and have the pharmacy answer questions and go over the steps required to get your flu shot!
