Finally had the opportunity to meet Hailey | Run + Strength Coach] tonite!!

This week I am away for work travelling the province. WhenI found out we would be in the Battleford area I knew I had to meet up with my coach Hailey | Run + Strength Coach] for a run.

Beautiful person and fantastic run partner, thank you for taking time to meet up for a quick after work run 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️

Two weeks out from the half marathon 🏃🏻‍♀️and I'm feeling excited!

My training plan from has been wonderful and I've seen improvement gradually every week. I'm loving the consistency of this run program and feeling strong. My last long run is tomorrow and then we start to taper things down.

Just working on some play lists for the run. I usually pop my ear buds in early in a race , but will pull them out later on once I distance myself from the race pack.

What is one song you absolutely must have on your playlist?

One month out from running the half marathon in Kelowna, BC 🏃🏻‍♀️

Since it's my first race in 6 years, I thought I would be smart about my training and work with . I'm very happy with how my training is going and her coaching skills. It's so great to have someone look at your pace/route and work with your personal goals. Ive seen progress quickly and I'm super excited to have fun with it and enjoy the process. I love feedback, good or bad, and Hailey's running experience has been influential to my thought process on training. Thanks for all the value you've provided me in such a short time. I've also complimented my running with strength training, which I've done for a long time. I find it incredibly beneficial to my endurance and strength both physically and mentally for a race.

I can't wait to finish the race and enjoy local wineries/ breweries that will be set up post race for sampling , along with live music.
How useful will my race medal be?! 🏅

I also can't wait to spend some time away with my family 🥰

Just taking a moment to reminisce about the rain this past weekend while we hopefully, get our final snow dump of the year.

I love running in the rain and the fresh crisp air that comes along with it. One thing I've been working on this week while running is my Mindset in regards to my professional development.

Tomorrow morning ill be leading a meeting rather than just observing. Speaking and doing oral presentations in front of large groups of people makes me so anxious. I understand what is required of me but to put it all together and fluently explain myself in front of people without stuttering, going through things to quickly or having my mind go blank.... this makes my stomach turn. I am thankful I will have my awesome colleague, sitting in to help me out if I need her. Thank you 🙏

I don't know if I'm the only one who stresses out about presentations, but I sure hope it gets easier over time. I do know it's outside of my comfort zone and it will be something that is required of me, so I will have to work on these nerves of mine.

Happy Friday 🏃🏻‍♀️

Decided to get a quick 5km in tonite in the new Cloud Monster that arrived this afternoon.

Thank you to Brian from for the opportunity to test this new style out.

I'll do some reviews when I get the chance to get some mileage in them. But my initial reaction.... my knees are doing a happy dance🤗

Today I am wearing:
Jacket: Stretch Riptstop Run 1/2 Zip. The fabric is a perforated lightweight fabric, allowing ventilation during my run and everything in between. Swift fabric under the arms and at the back is four-way stretch, sweat wicking and quick drying with a back vent strategically placed to allow airflow. There is also a Kangaroo pocket with a hidden phone sleeve to stash your phone during your run. I love the reflective details and the relaxed fit. My kind of run jacket. Available in store Regina.

Last night was the first in person event Regina hosted since Covid 19.
What a fabulous event planned and executed by the Regina team featuring the Blissfeel Womens Running shoe.

The event showcased the first footwear collection designed by . How exciting is this?! The night was filled with connection, trying on the Blissfeel Womens Running shoes, and of course the amazing gear.

My top 3 colour choices are Flare, Butter Pink, and Butter Pink/Scream Green.

Happy 76th Birthday Mom 💕🎂
Another trip around the ☀️for you.

My sister bought my mom a $1 scratch ticket and of course my mom has incredible luck, she won $100. She said with that money she won, she will buy groceries for the community fridge just off Dewdney Avenue to help those in need. She dropped off some donations to the fridge a few weeks ago and people were there looking and almost waiting for someone to stop and donate food. So if your looking to do something kind, those fridges need some nourishment on the shelves for those in need.

We love and appreciate all you do for our family mom. You are determined, faithful, and constantly giving of your time and love to all in our family. You are a selfless woman. Your family is always first in your eyes and your number one priority.

Happy Friday everyone! The weekend is here and the weather is warming up🙏👍

This week my runs were chilly but once I get going, I don't feel cold. With the proper gear, you can enjoy the winter weather as well. Finally, I had the best week off hanging out with my family. Doesn't get much better than making memories and spending time together.
