The launch of the Youth Mental Health Ambassador Program in the coming months will provide young leaders with the skills and ability to change the narrative and help remove the stigma surrounding mental health.

A heartfelt thank you to Chat4Chad for their incredible generosity!

With a gift of $50,000, we will be able to deliver ASIST (Applied Su***de Intervention Skills Training) to community groups across our region and develop a Youth Mental Health Ambassador Program, launching in community settings next fall.

This investment will equip young leaders and community partners with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to support positive mental health and well-being for youth and families.

Chat4Chad is extremely grateful for the opportunity to partner with the North Bay Battalion. I had the privilege of speaking with this incredible group of young men to emphasize the importance of taking care of your mental health. These conversations can be hard, but are necessary and need to start NOW!

Chat4Chad looks forward to working with the North Bay Battalion to help further awareness around mental health and su***de prevention.

In partnership with CMHA NBD, Chat4Chad is proud to fund SafeTALK training so we can help make North Bay a su***de-safe community.

Education is essential in order to recognize signs and obtain the necessary care, let’s do this together!

📣 CMHA NBD is proud to be a part of building a su***de-safer community through prevention education like LivingWorks safeTALK. SafeTALK training equips more people in our community to recognize risk and connect others with help.

This October, CMHA NBD will be offering a safeTALK session, free of charge, thanks to a generous grant from Chat4Chad.

Chat4Chad is proud to support Community Living North Bay and the new services they will be providing to their clients and caregivers.

Community Living North Bay is incredibly grateful to Chat4Chad for their generous donation and partnership.

This donation will allow CLNB to provide new addictions counselling services to both our clients and their caregivers. This funding directly supports people with complex needs and those who love them.

This new program is inspired by 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭 training philosophy, created by CLNB’s Jill Faber and inspired by Sam Hotte. It offers an evidence-based, human-centered approach to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and substance use by ensuring compassion, dignity, and a person-centered methodology.

It’s taken me a couple of days to gather my thoughts and express how deeply grateful I am to our community. Your incredible show of love and support is truly remarkable and demonstrates that when we come together, amazing things can happen!

Over 600 of us united to laugh, cry, sing, and dance—a truly special experience that we should all take pride in! Meaningful conversations were sparked, and feelings were shared, which is the heart of Chat4Chad.

Thank you to the amazing volunteers, sponsors, donors, and everyone who contributed to making this night unforgettable!

Remember, what truly matters is that you are here; we need you! So let’s continue to share, be open, and normalize these conversations.
