Our Clinic Director & Physio is moving😔

We are sadden to see our Emily go after a year with the team! Emily came to the team with such a vibrant and radiant energy and took on the Clinic Director role like a champ! We have no doubt she’ll do amazing in her next chapter. Emily, we the Trimetrics Team wish you the very best in Fernie!

Emily is still around the clinic for the rest of December. If you would like to book in with her before she heads out, we are open this Holiday Dec 27th to Dec 30th 7AM - 3PM.

A reminder that we offer virtual Telehealth appointments! If you are unable to make it for your appointment this week due to the snowstorm, with respect to your physio, we can switch your appointment to a video consultation or assessment in the comfort of your own home. You have tested positive for Covid 19: When can you return to the clinic?

Trimetrics Covid Policy based on the recommendations of BCCDC

If FULLY vaccinated or under 18:
You can attend the clinic after your 5 day isolation period IF your fever has resolved without the use of fever-reducing medication for 24hours AND your symptoms have improved.

If NOT vaccinated :
You can attend the clinic after your 10 day isolation period IF your fever has resolved without the use of fever-reducing medication for 24hours AND your symptoms have improved.

If your symptoms have NOT improved or you have a fever you should continue to isolate.

Can you come into the clinic if you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for covid ? Yes
The BCCDC recommends that you self-monitor for symptoms if you have been in close contact with a person that has tested positive for Covid 19. If you develop symptoms you must self isolate.

Susie Higgins is a certified Schroth Therapist and combines the specific Schroth therapy work with Pilates. The Schroth Method is one of the most recognized and effective evidence-based forms of physical therapy treatment for spinal deformities.

We are excited to Welcome our new Physio and Clinic Director Emily Fisher to the Trimetrics Family!

Emily has a history of multi-sport high performance athletics including field hockey, mountain biking, and alpine skiing. Her history has allowed her to have a passion for how the body moves and how to recover from injury and optimize the body’s function. She uses an active approach to rehab to help client’s reach their goals, with a focus on strength and conditioning programming.

Emily has a special interest in:

Orthopedic Injuries
Falls Prevention
Concussions
Athletes
Injury Prevention

Please help us Welcome Brittany to our Trimetrics Team!

Brittany is a practising kinesiologist, Pilates instructor, strength coach, student of osteopathy and backcountry enthusiast.

Her background is in high-performance dance and athletics, and she became intimately acquainted with the rehabilitation process after being hit by a car while biking in 2019.

Her rehabilitation journey is where she discovered the combination of Pilates, strength training and osteopathy, and how powerfully they work together to enhance ease of movement.

Brittany is eager to share her unique skill set with you, and looks forward to seeing you experience greater joy as you progress towards your fullest movement potential!

Dear Trimetrics community,

We thank you for your continued support throughout these past turbulent years of the pandemic. In response to the significant increases in the costs of running our clinic, (rent, increase in operational costs due to the pandemic, administration costs in particular to Pilates groups, clinic and medical supply costs) we find it necessary to make adjustments to our pricing effective May 1st 2022. These rates are based on the current market value and as well as increased inflation.

We remain more committed than ever to providing our patients with high quality effective treatments, delivered with heartfelt care and punctuality, in the North Shore’s most beautiful clinic.

Trimetrics is a healthcare facility and we are therefore not covered under this new mask freedom. As we have community members who are immune compromised, it is important that we stay the course for the moment and continue with the health and safety protocols that have brought us all this far!
