About us/ Our History

Dorvict Home and Health Care Services (aka) Dorvict Resource & Consulting Centre Inc. is a temporary staffing agency specializing in the provision of in-home, community health care and support services to children, youth with behavioural challenges, seniors, people who are ill and people with challenging abilities (developmental, mental, physical). Our services are geared towards providing freedom of choice, respect and promoting social inclusion for people with different abilities. We also offer tutoring services to children with different abilities. In addition to these services, we also provide unique house-sitting arrangements under our parental relief program.

Dorvict Home and Health Care Services is a health care staff replacement and training agency. Our company was incorporated on July 3rd, 1996 and opened its doors for business on August 1, 1996. The focus of our organization and work has been towards the provision of quality and timely support services to seniors, youth, people with different abilities, people in shelters, youth in transition, people who are ill, and people with other challenging needs. Our staff are trained to work at various settings including hospitals, vocational rehabilitation centres, shelters, in Private homes, Nursing homes as well as Group homes.In the early part of 1997 we serviced 2 clients (agencies) and today we have grown to servicing over 35 agencies with other outreach programs. Our management skills and experience have also grown with the responsibilities and the challenges of the job over the years. We have made it our passion to invest time and energy in hiring qualified and experienced staff coordinators and field workers (Personal Support Worker, Developmental Service Workers, Child & Youth workers, Registered Practitioner Nurses and Registered Nurses etc.) who are capable to manage the affairs of our client and staff adequately. We have earned ourselves a distinguished reputation through dedication to excellent customer satisfaction and our competitive rates.We have also introduced in-house training (First Aid & CPR, Enhanced Support Training, Non Violent Physical Crisis Intervention Training, Safe Management, Behaviour Management training and Diversity training in the Workplace) in order to enhance our staff strength and their on-the-job skills. The customization of our core training to fit our client’s job requirement has been a rewarding exercise.We are optimistic about adding new, interesting and satisfying services to complement what we currently offer to our customers. We hope to stay on top of what we do best (GIVING CARE) knowing that we can only achieve this goal when we strive to keep our clients satisfied with excellent services.
