Hello, and welcome! My name is Karen. Based in Ontario, Canada I provide online psychotherapy and/or art therapy. I am curious, patient, open, reflective and supportive. I will help you understand what motivates your thoughts and actions. I will help you find effective ways of coping with problems. I may at times gently challenge you (e.g. to think about things in a different way and be open to new ideas) but I will do so with empathy and only when the timing feels right and you are ready. It's very important that you feel comfortable and at ease with me. Therapy is about showing up—for yourself, your growth, and the work you’re doing. But sometimes, things don’t go as planned. You might forget a session, need to cancel or reschedule at the last minute, arrive late, or have to leave early. When that happens, many therapists and clinics charge a fee.

From a client’s perspective, this can feel frustrating or even unfair. You might wonder:

🔹Why am I being charged for a session that didn’t happen?
🔹If I rescheduled - even in the same week - why is there still a fee?
🔹If I was late or left early, why am I still paying the full amount?

Sue brings a strong academic background — including a Master’s in Psychology and an Honours BSc from the University of Toronto — along with current training through the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute. She offers a thoughtful, inclusive, and creative approach to therapy.
