My name is Karen. Based in Ontario, Canada I provide online psychotherapy and/or art therapy. I am curious, patient, open, reflective and supportive. I will help you understand what motivates your thoughts and actions. I will help you find effective ways of coping with problems. I may at times gently challenge you (e.g. to think about things in a different way and be open to new ideas) but I will do so with empathy and only when the timing feels right and you are ready. It's very important that you feel comfortable and at ease with me. Wondering how long therapy lasts? It varies depending on your goals and circumstances.

Some concerns can be worked through in a few months, while more complex or long-standing issues may take longer. Others choose to stay in therapy because it continues to support their well-being in different areas of life. Everyone’s path is unique, and there’s no one “right” timeline.

It’s totally normal to feel a bit unsure or nervous about starting therapy — especially if you’re not sure what to expect.

Therapy is a space where you can just be yourself. Your therapist is there to guide you, answer any questions you have, and work with you to figure out what support you need and how to get there.
