We are excited to have a 🄱🅁🄰🄽🄳 🄽🄴🅆 art therapy group starting this month for our tween to teens!
𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙇𝙖𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙥𝙖𝙙 is a 6-week group for ages 11-14, with a focus on building confidence, resilience, and social skills. We’ll be creating vision boards while talking about goals and dreams, create a tree of strengths, explore how we overcome challenges and obstacles, and learn the art of self-compassion.

I love it when they turn a fantastic adult book into something even better for the littles! This beautifully illustrated book explains Internal Family Systems therapy to kids so they can learn to understand and nurture their inner worlds.
It’s on our little Bloom Library shelf so make sure to check it out at your next visit ✨

We’ve had lots of requests to run a weekend Worry2Warrior group, so here it is! Our lovely art therapist, Sarva, is facilitating this group and it will run for 5 week starting at the end of February. I am so thrilled to welcome Heidi Bragg to Bloom Art Therapy & Counselling!!!
Heidi and I worked together years ago in the school system and I (not so) patiently waited for her to complete her psychologist registration before coming to join our Bloom team.
Heidi is a true gem! She exudes a warmth and compassion that resonates with teens, young adults, and adults. In addition to being a Registered Psychologist, Heidi is also a trained Professional Art Therapist, so she brings a diverse skill set and experience that we are so pleased to offer our clients.
