Bali has already given me so many gifts, reconnecting with Amber, Molly & Mark, anx also with myself. Sometimes we need that physical distance from our environment to see and say something new. Bali, in some places has raw, wild, ancient, freeing energies, in other places is buzzing with life force & aliveness, while other places carries the current energy of the society. All of it is a harmonious blend, just like the hindu and buddism blend into one baliness culture. I am in love with this place.

This Easter our family is celebrating the spiritual birth of our son, Alek. On his 21st birthday he applied for the gender affirmation and name change, a gesture of public recognition of his gender and name. I am honored to be a witness of his spiritual birth, not only his physical birth.
