Just finished watching The Father - a new movie with Anthony Hopkins. It is a very realistic view of dementia and how the mind plays tricks on people with this disease. The acting (Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Coleman) is fabulous and I highly recommend it. We need to understand how difficult this disease is for the patient and for their caregivers.

COVID-19 has shown how much Canada has to do to improve long-term care: Over-stressed staff are working in understaffed and outdated, underfunded facilities, where essential workers are paid minimal wages and treated as temporary staff.
