We are beyond excited to introduce our newest team member, Dr. Evan Kirkelos! 🎉 Starting July 15th, Dr. Kirkelos will be bringing his expertise and passion for rehabilitation and performance to TSC. You can book your initial assessment with Dr. Kirkelos by calling us if you're a new patient, or booking online if you're an existing patient!

✨ Meet Dr. Evan Kirkelos! ✨

Evan’s journey in rehabilitation and performance began during his childhood, playing competitive soccer, basketball, and golf. After retiring from personal competition, he shifted gears to work as a strength and conditioning coach. Over the past 7 years, Evan has helped individuals and teams at both the professional and collegiate levels achieve greater performance in their sports. In recent years, he has combined manual therapy techniques with his exercise prescription expertise to focus on neuro-musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation.

👨‍🎓 Education & Expertise:

Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College 🎓
Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Honours) from McMaster University 📚
Postgraduate courses in neurofunctional acupuncture and spinal stenosis management protocols 💉

Dr. Kirkelos believes every individual deserves the same high-level care and resources as professional athletes. Meet one of our owners, Kevin! 👋 A lifelong learner & passionate healer with extensive years of expertise in physiotherapy, osteopathy, and acupuncture! 🌟

I have spent the last 25 years of my life learning the “science” 🔬 and the “art” 🎨 of manual physical medicine. Being a hands-on manual physiotherapist, osteopathic practitioner, and acupuncture provider, I have learned that the keys to success are spending quality time and being extremely thorough when assessing and treating patients. “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts” is one of my mottos in finding the underlying causation of a patient’s symptoms. Being a healthcare provider is one of the best professions in the world, it is an immensely rewarding experience and I get to do it every day of my life 🙌🏻.

After completing my undergraduate degree (B.A) 🎓, I acquired a Health Science degree specializing in Physiotherapy (BHSc PT) 🏥, both from McMaster University. I am a Fellow of both the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapist (FCAMPT) and the International Federation of Manipulative Physiotherapists (IFOMPT). In addition, I am a certified Medical Acupuncture Practitioner (AFCI) and hold a diploma of Osteopathy (DO) from the Académie Sutherland d’Ostéopathie du Quebec.

From a teaching perspective, I have a clinical mentorship with the University of Toronto 📚 facilitating clinical reasoning and differential diagnosis with medical residents and physiotherapy students. I also take great pride in participating in the lost art of human cadaveric dissection through the Complementary and Alternative Medicine Human Dissection Experience (CAM HDE) at Queen’s University 🧠.

My current educational endeavors are focused on integrating traditional Chinese medicine, functional medicine, functional neurology, neuro-immunology, and the science of embryology (human form and function) 🧬. With over twenty-five years in the healthcare field, being a lifelong learner is part of who I am 📖.
