âHe heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.â â Psalm 147:3
There was a time when my body felt worn out, and my spirit felt just as heavy. Each morning started with that same tired question in my mind: Will today be any different, or will I have to push through more pain and worry?
Holding on to faith was the only thing that made sense. Even when my stomach acted up, or my energy felt drained, I kept these words close. They reminded me that healing isnât just for the good days, or for people who seem to have it all together. Healing is possible in every season, even the hard ones.
I remember sitting in church, feeling like everyone else was strong while I was quietly struggling inside. But over time, I learned that Godâs promise to heal reaches through every kind of pain- body, mind, and spirit. Itâs not about doing everything perfectly or pretending nothing hurts. Itâs about trusting that our Creator cares about every part of us, even the parts that feel broken.
Some days, healing looks like rest. Some days, it comes with a gentle word from a friend, or the comfort of prayer when the house is quiet. Just like a garden needs time, water, and sunlight, our bodies and hearts need patience and care to grow strong again.
Faith and science can work together to bring real change. When we honor both, we find hope that things can get better- even after years of feeling stuck or alone with our struggles. We are made for more than just getting by. We are meant to heal, to feel whole, and to live with peace.
Share a scripture or word of encouragement that helps you hold on to hope during tough seasons. Someone might need to hear it today.
