The past 4 weeks have been an emotional rollercoaster.
I’ve had to say goodbye to my beautiful friend Candice 💕, who was honoured and celebrated for the most amazing person that she was.
I also had to say goodbye to my beloved nonno❤️ who left us with some words to live life by : “ live your life the best way you can. You don’t have to listen to no one, you don’t even have to listen to me”.
Nonno and Candice had a passion for life in common , and were both very good at living in the moment , always moving through the day with a big smile.
My way to honour both of these souls is to do just that.
Embracing life’s experiences with grace, and enjoying each moment as it presents it self.
One thing that experiencing loss, and going to therapy, has taught me is that even through the hard parts of life, you are allowed to celebrate the good parts.
So through all of this, I’ve celebrated my 31st birthday with friends and family by my side, I moved into a new home with my husband and stepdaughter, I celebrated another beautiful friend at her bridal shower, and enjoyed all the other moments in between that made me smile. 😊
Your heart heals faster when you can smile❤️
I’m choosing to work on being the best version of me.
I’m taking the ups and downs of life with grace and choosing to move through the hard parts because I want to allow myself to grow in every way possible. Sometimes it’s easier said than done, but if you don’t try then you will just stay stuck in the same spot.
I’m grateful to have a family that comes together through good times and bad, and always extends love and support ❤️
I’m also grateful for the amazing friends I have in my life, who are always there through thick and thin ❤️
My intention for each morning is to “live life the best way I can”
( to quote nonno)❤️❤️
And step into the best version of myself, so I can continue to experience this life to the fullest 💪🏼🫶🏼🙏🏼
