The secret to having it all is knowing you already do! ⠀

We get so caught up on having the latest gadgets or technology, nice cars and beautiful houses but the truth is, if you have your health and your family and a safe place to live you are truly blessed. ⠀

So many people face such horrible and extreme circumstances yet still have a positive outlook on life.⠀

Sunday’s are for family. If you’re lucky enough to be spending it together, take a minute to realize how much you already have! ❤️ ⠀

The last few days this is how I’ve felt! (I just finished a killer workout and feel like I can’t get up 😂) ⠀

I got my first cold of the school year 😣 I’ve been trying to get back into a routine with the kids being back in montessori and honestly haven’t been eating well. I just felt a little disappointed in myself. ⠀

This morning I decided to take some progress pictures because I was a little worried that I’d taken a few steps backwards. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! ⠀

We are always harder on ourselves than anyone else! It’s ok to have bad days or off days. What’s important is that we keep showing up and doing our best. When you commit to something and show up consistently the results will come. ⠀

Hi guys!

As you probably all know, I am on a journey to becoming my healthiest and fittest self! 😊. I’ve made lots of progress but I still have a ways to go! I would so love to have more company on this journey!

The program I’m currently doing is 100 workouts long and 20-30mins each. I’ve been doubling up but you can also just do one a day or more. You can go at your own pace which is nice! If you were to start Monday, you would finish just in time for the new year! Instead of making that same old resolution to get fit and eat healthy you’d already be there! 😉

I’ve always been shy so naturally one of my biggest fears has always been talking to people and the fear of what they would think of me. ⠀

While I believe being shy does have its advantages, it also has huge disadvantages.⠀

Imagine being at your own wedding reception and feeling too shy to dance. Or being 99% sure of an answer in class that no one knows but that 1% chance of being wrong keeps you from putting your hand up.⠀

Lately I’ve been trying to conquer this fear and what I’ve found is the more I face it, the easier it becomes and the less fear I have!⠀

What are some of your biggest fears and do you try to face them?⠀

Ps. I did dance at my wedding reception 😂 I just had a few drinks first!

Be stronger than your strongest excuse!
Why do we make excuses? To defend our behaviour, to postpone taking action and simply as a means of neglecting responsibility!
To put it simply, excuses prevent you from living the life you want. You’re giving up before you’ve even begun!

To make a change you need to decide to be stronger every day! Focus on your goals and your why and don’t let anything get in your way!

Do something that scares you!

My friends and family know that I am a shy, introverted person. I’ve never liked attention and prefer to blend into the background unnoticed. So why am I showing up everyday and putting myself out there? Because doing something outside of my comfort zone actually makes me feel more alive. It gives me a rush of energy and I feel like I can do anything!

Give it a try! Do one thing that scares you today. It will give you an unbelievable feeling of accomplishment and an urge to do more 😊

I never did!
So why buy it you ask?
Well, for most of my life I hated clothes shopping! Nothing ever fit right or looked good! I basically would find anything that fit and looked ok and hid my mid section. I remember buying this one in March. Never tried it on. Never usually tried on clothes before buying so I wouldn’t be embarrassed to say they didn’t fit. Anyways, this one looked like it would cover my tummy so I grabbed it. Got home and nope! Threw it in my closet. I found it today and guess what? It looks ridiculous because it’s too big!
The second pic is a shirt I ordered online last summer and actually liked but it didn’t fit. Well, today it is almost too big!
It might have taken a while, but I made healthy choices and stayed consistent and it’s finally paying off!

How good does punching and kicking the air feel...pretty damn good!
We had a long morning of sibling fighting and crying so it felt good to get rid of some stress!! Sometimes I’m happy I waited until nap time to get my workout in especially after a rough morning!

I love these kids to death but they push me to my limits both mentally and physically! I always make time for myself each and every day to refill my “cup”!
It’s important to look after yourself so you can look after your family! How do you recharge everyday??
