Understanding your body through Somatic Healing.
Throughout our lives we interact with many people, family, our coworkers, friends, random people Etc and we may even encounter some type of trauma or an experience and that usually causes a blockage of energy. This blockage of energy is stored in our energetic fields or our energetic bodies. These blockages Fester inside building a type of block almost like a brick wall in the block doesn't budge. It can cause interruptions in your life where it causes mistrust, ptsd, anxiety, depression, and many more. Trauma can be as simple as abuse, life or death experience, watching a tragic event etc. Well somatic therapy focuses on where it is stored in the body to release it by unblocking and releasing this eases fears, and the fight or flight response and more.
Let me talk to you about a client of mine quickly.
So I just wanted to talk about a client of mine's experience. So growing up she was abused in multiple ways and she stayed in a high fighter flight response. This caused her to live in distress daily it even affected her daily life, caused insomnia unhealthy eating habits, mood changes, caused anxiety and OCD and distrust. She had so much built up energetic trauma that she was at a point in giving up she tried talk therapy, cbt, meditations, yoga's, pilates, massage classes even a diary but nothing had helped. So I suggested that she try somatic therapy session to start. She needed a few sessions of clearing but during the process she did somatic healing with me. I took her on a personal and private and sacred inner journey to release the store trauma that's in the body. Then to help her understand how her body reacts to situations and how to recognize it and to clear it. A few weeks later I've gotten a call from her and she gave me some insight on how she felt and how she was learning to release As She Goes and how our session greatly impacted her. It's been 3 months and she's managed to live in a more peaceful state she now recognizes when her body goes through the traumas or when her body goes through her anxiety attacks and she is aware on how to allow herself to clear it because she knew she is safe.
