The EBNMP™ was first formed as The Examining Board of Natural Medicine Practitioners Inc., founded in 1998, to service the need of an ever growing demand for natural medicine health care in Ontario. The founding directors adopted the principles and model of the WHO sanctioned Medicina Alternativa Institute - Alma-Ata 1962 Accord. In 2003, the founding directors established The Examining Board of N

atural Medicine Practitioners™ Canada, affectionately known as EBNMP™ Canada, a Not-for-Profit Corporation #4138929. As a result of this new Not-for-Profit Corporation, all other entities that would resemble or bear the name of EBNMP™ were closed. Furthermore, in order to safeguard the identity and services of our members, we established trademarked and protected titles. The World Board of Natural Medicine (WBNM) retains all trademark, certification mark, and other ownership rights and written permission must be obtained before usage. Since 2008, EBNMP™ Canada has functioned as an Association for Natural Medicine Practitioners© who are identified by the WBNM titles. It maintains its high standards of professionalism and its mandate is to support and protect the practitioners. The Regional Divisions adhere to strict guidelines on the standard of natural medicine practice as well as the use of World Board of Natural Medicine trademarked titles and designations. The structure of the EBNMP™ Canada Association is a committee comprised of the Chairman, the President, the Secretary General and Regional Directors who are tireless in their support of the natural medicine movement and are versed in provincial issues. The EBNMP™ Canada Association registers members by the Province in which they practice and keeps a record of the same membership information as the official Registration document (WBNM Certificate). Renewal stickers are not needed for this certificate.

Dear Members:

Our Board of Directors continue to serve its members by adherence to the standards of the World Health Organization's Benchmarks for Training in Naturotherapy - TM/CAM, Acupuncture, Ayurveda and Natural Medicine.

Eligibility to be Board Certified and affiliate with a Non-Legislated Healthcare Association requires a candidate’s submission to show proof of educational status Level I to IV to include Clinical Mentorship as well as a member must complete yearly continuing competency requirements and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Ethics as outlined by our EBNMP Canada Association.

The fee for Level IV is $500.00. For Practitioners level I-3, the fee is $300.00. Members who joined after June 2023 are only required to pay half of the yearly fee.

Ways to pay membership fees:

3. Submit your credit card information by email to ebnmpca@gmail.com

Upon receipt of the membership fee, a receipt and Letter of annual renewal will be issued.

Greetings 2024

As we say farewell to the past year, let us embrace 2024 with a serene mind. Adversity is the metal that sharpens our will and impediment is the stepping stone to greater resilience. Only through obstacles can one truly appreciate the meaning of achievement.

Life's situations hold no distinction between good or bad. Fortune relies on misfortune, but likewise, misfortune hides within fortune. Only intrinsic wisdom and clarity will comprehend the true source of all actions. Time passes continuously, as with the impermanence of all things.

Our CEU’s Program are now available to members, so look out for the listing soon! Practitioner Level IV must complete 60 CEU and all other Levels, 40 CEU are required.

These certification marks can only be issued by the EBNMP. No other organization, association or entity is authorized to issue EBNMP owned certification marks without express written consent of the owner. Greetings from EBNMP™ Canada's Board of Directors. The New Year is approaching and we take this opportunity to
wish you all a happy holiday and wishes for great success in the new year. Please take a moment to read all the information
contained in this letter. If you have any questions, please email us.

EBNMP™ Canada has functioned as an Association since 2008 and continues to support Practitioners of Natural Medicine across Canada. Under direction of the WBNM regarding usage of the certification marks / trademarks, DNM®, RAP®, RNP®, RLMP®, RNMP®, we will no longer be listing your specific title on our website at http://www.ebnmp.com/members.html. Members will be listed by name and province only. Insurance companies are in contact with us concerning verification of your billing submissions. These actions are in keeping with your future growth and development as a natural medicine practitioner.

As found in the Official Membership Handbook, all EBNMP™ Canada members are issued a Provincial Association certificate which contains the same membership information as your official Registration document issued from the WBNM. The Provincial certificate is only valid as long as your WBNM registration is in Good Standing.

This is a reminder that Renewal fees for 2016 are due by March 30, 2016. Members that joined prior to 2015 will not receive an individual renewal invoice (please contact us by email if you are unsure of your fee). If you joined in 2015, you will receive an invoice with a pro-rated fee for your renewal. In order to benefit our members and to ensure the ease of verification by the Insurance Companies, the Good Standing list will be updated monthly in 2016. To assist our office staff in these updates, please ensure that your renewal fees are paid on time. Failure to renew on time will result in members being suspended as of April 1, 2016 until renewal fees are paid in full.

As per EBNMP™ Canada bylaws, Section 14. Membership Dues: "Members shall be notified electronically of the membership dues three (3) calendar months prior to being payable …. if any are not paid …. the members in default shall automatically cease to be members of the Corporation. Written notice will be sent to members that have not paid dues informing them of termination of membership".

Payment by cheque / money order: Please make payable to EBNMP™ Canada and send to the above mailing address along with your 2016 Renewal Form. Please ensure that all requested information is provided to keep your records updated.

PLEASE NOTE: Cheques returned by your bank as NSF are subject to an additional fee of $35.00 and an immediate membership suspension until fees are paid in full.

Payment by credit card: Visa and Mastercard payments are accepted (additional processing fee of $10 is applicable). Please
complete ALL of the requested information on the back of your 2016 Renewal Form and send to the above mailing address along with all requested information / documents. A separate credit card receipt will also be sent out by mail when the transaction is complete.

Please make a note on your renewal form if you require any of the following: a letter for city licensing renewal; previous years renewal stickers / receipts.
