๐๐ Your Expectations Vs. Your Reality ๐๐
I can pretty much guarantee that you never grew up aspiring to be a part of a group for people trying to overcome chronic anxiety, chronic stress, and burnout.
BUTโฆhere you areโฆ (WELCOME!)
And one of the first things we need to address are the EXPECTATIONS you had for your current situation vs. your REALITY.
Your expectation was that you just take all that life throws at you and deal with it like a machine - but you are not a machine - you are a person with physical, mental, and emotional needs. If the stressors of life keep piling up and you donโt take proper care of yourself, the result is anxiety and burnout.
First, I want to affirm that every single feeling you have about your current situation is valid and important.
Second, I want you to know that this is a safe space to express anything you want to about your situation or circumstance.
Third, Any thought you have that โothers have it worseโ, or โI shouldnโt feel this wayโ, or โI should just be able to deal with thisโ need to be gently put to the side as we work together to get you from overwhelmed and anxious to balanced, at peace, and in control.
Fourth, did you know your experience can also help someone else so the more you are able to be open and real in this group the more everybody moves forward together?

Post in the comments a word that describes how you feel now vs. how you want to feel in the future. This will help give me some direction as I curate more content to help everyone with anxiety and burnout.
