Whether you’re a new, soon to be, or experienced mama we’re willing to bet you’ve heard some of these myths before:
❌The 6-week mark is your green light to return to fitness activities.
✅Your birth method plays a huge role in the time it takes for you to recover. For most women 6 weeks is too soon to jump back into a full-on fitness routine. Now is the time to start small and rebuild slowly so you can avoid complications down the road.
❌You’ll never be as strong as you were before.
✅You can be STRONGER! In fact, the stronger you are the less stress you’ll be putting on your joints, and the easier it’ll be to keep up with your little one.
❌It’s normal to p*e laugh when you jump, laugh, or sneeze.
✅Incontinence is common but it’s NOT normal and you don’t have to live with it. You can correct it by learning how to engage and manage your core and pelvic floor.
No matter where you are on your motherhood journey don’t fool yourself into believing you have to pay a lifelong price for having children.
