As most small business, the beginning of Bare has been a lot of trial and error. Bars that I thought would be popular stay sitting in storage, and others I wasn’t crazy about I can never keep enough stocked. The soaps shape, size, texture, colour, ingredients, everything has been a learning experience but here is what I have learnt so far.

Bare is minimalistic, simple, and clean. Each ingredient has a purpose. As tempting as it has been to add more vibrant colours, melt & pour or use lovely fragrances, the integrity in having a brand that doesn’t add any chemicals or detergents is more important to me than ease of convenience or what is popular.

My hope is that Bare is a brand people can feel confident in. A brand that consistently remains 100% natural, vegan, zero waste, and nourishing for your skin.

Bare is a simple switch to become more sustainable and has a multitude of benefits for your skin.

Bare is raw, and upfront about the soap making process & wants to simplify your routine.

ZERO WASTE BARS • If you made an order from us recently, it’s likely one of your freebies was these zero waste bars. I have been calling it FIESTA since it looks like confetti. With no scrap left behind, these bars are made from the bits & ends of our other bars, with lime & mint essential oil & coconut shavings on top. This hidden gem gets so many compliments so we finally decided to add it to our collection!

These ones here are currently curing and will be ready beginning of March 2022!

Now that the parties over I can share these adorable bridal shower favours I had the honour of making for my best friend. Alyssa has been my partner in crime since we were 5. Two little girls dreaming about each other’s weddings, so being able to incorporate Bare to make her shower a little more special was something I am so grateful I got to do. From Alyssa’s Shower to Yours. Two vegan handmade soaps, custom for the bride, wrapped and parted with all the beautiful women who attended ✨🤍
