Another year, another successful Blue Nose Marathon weekend! 🏃‍♀️🎉

From cheer zones to recovery zones, our Lifemark team showed up in full stride!

We had an incredible time connecting with the community at our booth during the Expo, supporting runners at the finish line, and providing post-race treatment at our tent. Big shoutout to the amazing students and staff from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy and Eastern College who helped power our massage tent all weekend long.

Hats off to the inspiring Team Myles Powered by Lifemark crew – your journey moved us every step of the way! 👏 And a huge round of applause to our Lifemark Relay Teams who crossed the finish line together, showing what teamwork really looks like!

Here’s to another memorable year at the Emera Blue Nose Marathon! 💙

Lifemark is a sponsor of the Rattle Me Bones Race which took place on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum. Proceeds support research in bone cancer, malignancies that affect mobility and the promotion of healthier bones. Rattle Me Bones features 5 events: Zombie Run, half marathon Crazybone, 10k Wishbone, 5k Funnybone and a 1k Jigglebone.

It was certainly a chilly day, so our team; Julie Dignard, Diana Berardi, Joanne Marleau, Mylène Séguin and Anne Edgell-Kennedy from our Carling clinic, braved the weather with multiple layers and mitts! We shared information about our services, answered questions, handed out Lifemark lip balm and Halloween chocolates! We have next year’s race already on our minds as we plan for more involvement and discuss ideas.

The CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run that raises funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. It is the largest single-day, volunteer-led event in Canada in support of the breast cancer cause.
