We also pay very close attention to technique and detail, and we strive to teach people all of the things that humans are naturally designed to do – squat, lift, bend, pull, push, lunge, and rotate. In essence, we want to give you the ability to “move” better, in every sense of the word, and we intend to support you every step of the way, provided that you assume responsibility for your own advancement. Furthermore, we are dedicated to bridging the gap between medicine and everyday physical fitness. With the help of our knowledgeable and friendly staff - which includes an orthopedic surgeon, physiotherapist, a national level weight-lifting coach, and a myriad of other highly qualified trainers - we will take your weaknesses and turn them into strengths. Make no mistake, when you come here, you will sweat and work hard, but you will also leave a better person – a more mobile, healthier, and happier person. What are your fitness interests?
Biomechanics, anatomy nerd, sedentary-to-active lifestyle improvements.

How do you help your clients by way of your skills and expertise?
Most patients seek massage due to some sort of tension build-up. I help by individualizing care and assessing for the source of this tension, using manual manipulation techniques to remove the tension, and most importantly reintroducing strength and balance where the body needs it most.

What are your preferred clients that you like to work with?
I find the typical client that books with me fits into 1 of these categories;
1 Desk Workers - Sedentary folks with tension
2 Weekend Warriors - Active people who train hard
3 Caregivers - Physically tired caregivers, could be new parents, could be psw workers, nurses, etc.
4 The Chronic Searcher - Clients who have gone to many different therapists in many different modalities without much success
5 The Runner - Those who train mainly endurance based presenting with nagging injuries or what to prep for a big race
What is unique about your approach with your clients?

I try to pair exercise therapy with manual manipulations to address concerns unique to the individual.

What do you like the most about your job at Human 2.0?
I like working in a facility equipped with the space and equipment needed to provide a comprehensive treatment. I like that as I become more comfortable creating content we can use the facility to showcase treatment interventions to provide educational content to those interested.

At Human 2.0, we believe in fostering a positive and inclusive environment where our members and staff thrive. As the first face of our gym, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while supporting our community of fitness enthusiasts and wellness professionals.

What You’ll Do
As a Front Desk Admin, you’ll manage key administrative tasks while providing exceptional customer service, including:
* Welcoming Clients: Greet and register new and existing gym members, physiotherapy patients, and massage therapy clients.
* Payment Management: Receive and accurately enter payments from clients and insurance companies
* Scheduling Appointments: Call and schedule patients for physiotherapy and massage therapy sessions.
* Follow-Up Communication: Contact patients for outstanding payments and ensure records are up to date.
* Administrative Support: Utilize tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, and online platforms like Jane App or Accuro EMR to manage records and schedules.

What You Bring
* Skills & Experience:
* Familiarity with computers and software such as Microsoft Word and Excel (or equivalent).
* Experience with online patient portals like Jane App is highly desirable.
* Language Proficiency:
* Fluent in English (spoken and written).
* Fluency in French is a strong asset.
* Personal Qualities:
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* A positive, approachable attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
* Ability to work collaboratively with fitness and health professionals

Position Details
* Hours: Part-time, 24–30 hours/week (weekdays, between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM).
