Reiki is the source of Universal LIfe Energy, and it is also a term used to describe the holistic healing modality that accesses and transmits that energy. Reiki has had a profoundly positive impact on me. My big "aha" moment was when I realized that providing good care for others -- be it your kids or your elderly parents -- depends on first providing excellent care for yourself. Like they say on
airplanes, "Put your oxygen mask on before assisting others because you'll be no good to anyone if you don't remain conscious."
