A birth I will never forget.✨📸
As a birth doula and photographer, I’m invited into the most sacred space a couple will ever experience together — the birth of their child. This particular birth was nothing short of magical.
From the intensity of active labour, the unwavering support of a husband who held space so beautifully, a hands-off medical team who showed deep trust in mom's ability to birth her baby without intervention, to the quiet courage in every surge — I coached mom through birth, lens in hand, as she brought her baby Earthside with power and grace.
I captured the moment her baby crowned. I froze in time that very first breath. I documented those tender, tear-filled first few hours as they soaked in the reality: they were now parents.
These are not just pictures. These are forever moments. Raw, real, and utterly human. The kind of love and emotion that can't be staged. The kind that only birth gives us. The kind we want to remember and carry with us forever, and birth photography gives us that.
It’s a gift to witness a birth like this.
It’s a greater gift to capture it for them — so that long after the oxytocin fades and the newborn fog rolls in, these moments live on in every frame.
Birth photography is so much more than beautiful images. It’s a legacy of strength, of love, of transformation.
