Some common indicators can include:

• snoring or noisy sleep
• restless sleep
• difficulty focusing

Do you ever wake up with jaw tension or headaches?

Nighttime clenching and grinding can place significant stress on the jaw joint and surrounding muscles. Over time, this can contribute to TMJ discomfort, headaches, and facial tension. Often, clenching is the body’s way of trying to stabilize the airway during sleep.

When breathing patterns improve, jaw tension may decrease as well.
The body is always trying to adapt and compensate. Understanding those patterns helps us address the root cause instead of just the symptoms.

Do you ever wake up with jaw soreness or tightness?

Breathing is something we do all day without thinking about it, but how you breathe matters more than most people realize.

Breathing through the nose helps filter air, regulate oxygen levels, and support proper airway function. Mouth breathing, on the other hand, can lead to disrupted sleep, dry mouth, fatigue, and even changes in facial development over time.

When breathing improves, many people notice better sleep, clearer thinking, and more consistent energy during the day.
Sometimes the smallest habits can have the biggest impact on how our body functions.

Do you usually breathe through your nose or your mouth during sleep?

I could have waited until myofunctional therapy was approved in the dental hygiene scope in Newfoundland…. But 6 years later I would still be waiting.

Instead… I took other education, found other insurance, became regulated under another profession… because what I do can’t wait.

The sooner we address our the sooner we thrive.

You can look, feel, think, &perform better.
And more importantly help your kids while their brains and bodies are still growing.

Snoring isn’t always just a noisy inconvenience.

For many people, it’s a sign that breathing during sleep isn’t working the way it should.
When airflow is restricted, your body has to work harder through the night. That can affect oxygen levels, disrupt sleep cycles, and leave you waking up feeling tired… even after a full night in bed.

The good news?
Snoring often has an underlying cause that can be addressed.
Things like airway health, breathing patterns, and oral muscle function can all play a role in how well you breathe while you sleep.
When breathing improves, sleep quality often follows.
And that means quieter nights, more restful sleep, and waking up feeling like yourself again.

If snoring has become part of your nightly routine, it might be worth taking a closer look at what your body is trying to tell you.

Poor sleep can be the underlying reason for poor blood glucose and/or pressure regulation.
Improve your sleep…. Because Sleep is for Winners!

Med students have T-shirts that say Sleep is for Quitters…. And for them at that time in their life- it might mean. But for health and longevity- that’s a big NO.

Do you think your doctor has more than 10 hours of education on sleep?

Yes…. This is myo.
And this is sometimes how my prescriptions for therapy look!

Need the exercise but worry about the commitment? I can help with that… because I am a mom and I understand!

🚨Pay NOW.. or LATER🚨

There is a cost to prevention and to intervention (latter is usual way more). This is why I have found ways to make something expensive more feasible for more people.

🥁🥁🥁Many of us are focused on money and the cost of things as a determining factors in how we live or life.💰

But before we decide if something is of value to us, we really should also be considering the value if we don’t do or buy the thing!

Health is where I am going here. The cost if we DO and the cost if we DONT.

What is most important to you? The cost of illness or the cost of wellness?🥁🥁🥁

Health Coaching & Wellness Advocate

***Mind Body Mouth- A whole health approach for the whole person you are***

Hi, my name is Tiffany Ludwicki, and I am owner of Mind Body Mouth- an educational resource to help you understand the influence of a balanced lifestyle on overall happiness and the importance of oral health on your whole person. I became a Certified Health Coach, as a result of my own health challenges and the recognizable gap I noticed between dental and medical care teams.

I work with both individuals and groups (in person or online) to help people achieve their health goals in a supportive and natural way. I focus on a whole-foods approach to eating and a holistic approach to life by connecting the mind, body and the mouth. There are many underlying reasons why we may experience health or illness, and no two people are the same. I take a purely individualized approach to help each individual succeed in an enjoyable and sustainable way. One is 70% more likely to reach their goals if they have the support of a health coach.
