We at Comfort Keepers Parksville are deeply saddened by the tragic events that occurred during the Lapu-Lapu Festival in South Vancouver on April 26th. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and all those impacted by this heartbreaking incident. We stand in solidarity with the Filipino communityโboth here in British Columbia and across Canadaโas we grieve together.
The Filipino community holds a special place in the heart of senior care. Every day, we are inspired by their compassion, strength, and unwavering dedication to caring for others. Many of our caregivers, staff, and extended families are part of this community, and we are profoundly grateful for the love and commitment they bring to their work and to the lives of the seniors we serve.
