Did you know that cloth diapering will save you a 💩 ton of money? Plus, it's much gentler on sensitive skin. And you don't have to do it full time, you can do a disposable at night if you need to, or when you travel.
Think it's too much work? Well, it's a little more work than a load of laundry, but you don't have to worry if you run out of diapers at 2am as long as you stay on top of it.
Almost everyone I talked to when I was pregnant the very first time, told me that it would be too much work, it's was gross, or that it's just not something I would continue. Yet here I am, 4 years and 2 kids later, still cloth diapering.
$36.72 for a box of diapers (approximately.)
$73.44 for 2 boxes per month (6m+)
That is $1700 for one year. And you buy them literally to throw away. They also take up a lot of resources to create, and practically never decompose. We use a sprayer and spray shield, so no, p**p doesn't go everywhere and we don't have to touch it.
If you want to give it a try, feel free to ask me any questions, or help you get started with a wash routine.
