Reginald AKA Reggie 2010 -2024. Reg was rescued from a puppy mill in Stockton, CA. The initial team rescued all the dogs except him. He was too vicious. A specialty team was able to extract him. We were told he might be beyond rehabilitation, that others had attempted to adopt him, only to return him. The placement team told Jenny she could be interviewed by Reggie, while being observed by them, but no promises. It sounded like an intervention! She flew a thousand miles for that interview and came home with this dog in her arms. We were told he would be unsafe around children. As it turned out, he adored the grandkids, and added so much love, companionship, and entertainment to our lives.

We love heading to Southern California to teach the family programs for Opus Health's women's house in Tustin and for their men's house in Costa Mesa. They recognize and prioritize their Family Program for the vital healing it ignites. After work, we are enjoying the fresh food and air this coastal community is known for!

As the New Year is already upon us and presents the opportunity to evaluate and reflect on our goals and resolutions, we can’t help but share one that remains at our core; and that is to help families connect with one another. It’s a blessing to rally around our clients and equip them to accomplish this goal through our Family Programs.
