Melt Mineral Spa does not direct bill, but we do provide a receipt with Emily’s RMT number, for you to submit!

Massage Therapy is an ancient healing practice, and tracing back to where it all began is slightly complex because almost all ancient civilizations, despite geographical and cultural differences, recognized the importance of touch therapy for healing purposes.

But, with that being said , one of the earliest known reference of massage can be found in the “Tomb of Akmanthor” in Egypt, dating back to 2330 BC. These tomb paintings showed people massaging hands and feet, depicting the use of therapeutic and healing touch!

This is something I ask my new and referred clients. I’ve found it’s the best way to personalize a treatment no matter what the purpose of the visit is . No two treatments are the same, but as your RMT with our initial appointment - my goal is to know your needs before I start …. Then I just listen to my hands 🤲🏼.

Cute little update sent by my bestie after working on her feet, pool side. - by the way I could so get used to that! So she’s been suffering with plantar fasciitis for some time now … and since she provided the bubbly and a pool, I provided her with a treatment that not all people can endure (her tolerance for pain is way up there) 🔥
But hey , it worked 😉
