Today's Muse of Voices (Swords) pull reminds me of: my new way to ask "How are you?" as "What is alive in you?" 🪁

The Muse of Voices uses the bridge metaphor to remind us that our mind has the ability to connect us to all things or conversely, isolate us.

What power our minds hold.

A power wholly wielded by the Self.

Both mind and bridge function as connective tissue. The possibilty is levity...dynamic movement...exploration. But we must use our intellect intentionally to bridge. 🌉

Never-have-I-ever...understood the bone-tiredness of this card. Until now.

I heard a younger classmate describe the need to "rot" sometimes. (Firstly, ewww.) But on Easter Monday, I could not will myself out of bed. My body was so heavy with exhaustion. So I just slept and slept.

Truth is, it wasn't peaceful..a litany of "shoulds" still fluttered inside my mind. I bought myself another week's worth of "push."

The Four of Swords is the need for a system shut-down...a long-ass re-set. And a day of rot is just a drop in the bucket. BUT! Still vital to our exhausted system.

I have two more weeks of internship then two weeks off school until Summer courses begin. The Muse of deep rest is calling.

And if she is calling you too...it is vital to finally book a REAL swath of time off. Honour it.

Bachelorette Season has begun!! 👰💍🥂

This weekend's group gathered in West Kelowna, BC from both the East and West coasts of Canada for a glorious 3 day celebration.

I arrived at their Air B&B on their last night for 15 min Tarot quickies and spoiled the bride-to-be with a 20 min Tarot mini.

My fave moments: The glee and screams from the main space as each person finished their reading and re-joined the group. I love overhearing..."How was it??" and them saying "omg...sooo good!"✨

Makes my heart beam. I love my work so much. 🥰

The Lovers, Valentine’s Day Edition 💘

The Lovers isn’t about finding your missing half.

It’s about choosing...fully, consciously, without abandoning yourself.

This card asks: Am I splitting myself apart to be loved?

Because real intimacy isn’t fusion. It’s alignment.

It’s standing in the whole, naked truth of who you are while letting someone else stand in theirs.

Best advice: Choose yourself, so that when you choose another, it’s devotion… not depletion. ✨

🪷 Saturday highlights 🪷

Pic #1: Took myself for chilly outside journal time at Okanagan lake, pulled "Knight of Cups"-the card of romance, dating, and wooing 😍

Pic #2: The message carved in the tree right beside where I was journaling. Like a balm for my increasing anxiety about the escalating f**kery South of us and worldwide

Pic #3: A juvenile bald eagle soared in with a fresh fish in its talons. For many Indigenous peoples including the Syilx (Okanagan) Nation, eagles are sacred messengers to the Creator, symbolizing strength, vision, honor, and a direct connection between the spiritual and earthly realms. And it reminded me of one of besties Deanna Sobieroy
