Message me for more info :) My name is Amanda and I am a married, stay-at-home mom of 3 amazing kids (age 3, 7, and 9). Growing up I was always the athletic girl, I played a ton of sports and was always busy doing something active. I CRAVED it! I couldn't get enough of it! I was even named Female Athlete of the Year my senior year in High School. When I got married in 2007 and then had my son in 2
008 my ability to get out and play sports ended. I wasn't comfortable leaving my son with just anyone and I wanted to be the best mom I could be. At the time I thought that meant be there 24/7 for my son. Over the years I had 2 more kids and it got even harder to do things for me. My mom passed away in 2011 and the only reliable babysitter I had was no longer around to help out. I fell into a rut and got stuck in the monotony of being a stay-at-home mom. I had no energy, was always tired, short-tempered, frustrated and bored with life. In 2016 my friend approached me about an opportunity to workout from home. At first I was like NO WAY, but then I started to ask questions and eventually she convinced me to give it a try. After 8 years of being a stay-at-home mom, doing absolutely nothing for me, I realized it was time to put ME first. I was instantly hooked. My passion was back, my love of fitness resurfaced and that girl from my high school years was back. After 8 years I finally realized that being the best mom I could be didn't have to mean being there for my family 24/7. I could take time for myself every day and it would actually make me a better wife and mother. Who knew? I now take 30 minutes every day for ME! I have come to realize that it's not selfish to do something for me, it's necessary. My mission in life now it to help other moms learn to take care of themselves too and to realize that it will help them be the best mom they can be.
