A morning routine sets the tone for the rest of your day, so if you’re looking to reduce stress, increase your productivity, improve your sleep, and have more energy throughout the day, this is for you!
I’m sharing my morning routine with you as an example. These are the things I’ve found to have the biggest impact on my health and well-being and I’ve noticed many improvements in my own symptoms from incorporating these morning routines:
👅- If you’re looking for new ways to improve your gut health, start your day with brushing your teeth and tongue scrapping.
You want to get all of the coating on your tongue off before you consume food or water because that coating can contain harmful bacteria and toxins. The mouth is the gateway to the gut, so removing those bacteria and toxins can benefit your overall gut health.
💧- Having a large glass of room temperature water with salt and lemon. After sleeping for 8-9 hours, we wake up dehydrated. You may notice headaches, brain fog, muscle cramps, dry mouth, etc. upon waking up. I’ve found this to be one of the best additions to my morning routine.
🍳- A high protein breakfast is truly a game changer. If you’re noticing your energy crashes mid day, incorporate more protein.
🌞- Morning sunlight is the best time of my day. This truly sets the tone of my day and I feel so much more alert and happy when I get morning sun exposure. If you’re working on addressing your hormones, I suggest you add this in to your morning routine asap.
