Just a few clips of the fashion show at the Multicultural event held at Esplanade park, in Pickering today. Wonderful to see the many communities in Durham participate and to experience various cultures. Met so many vendors from different cultures and their crafts and learned so much! Wonderful afternoon connecting & learning. Grateful for this experience and to the city for organising such cultural events for people to come and experience the diverse communities in the Durham Region🙏🏽. *Talking drums from Africa - learned that it was used in the slavery trade time to warn people when the traders are spotted so they can hide. *Indian Sari made of pure silk. *Eyptian belly dancers. *Chinese dancers *Canadian Palestinians carrying Olive branch for peace -I messed up the video! *Canadian Hispanic Arts & Culture showcasing Mexican embroidered garments.
