When you say it only takes 1 angel to make somebody’s day….well we are extremely grateful to announce that this year’s winner of our NurseNextDoor 2025 Fundraising BBQ for Hospice has decided to donate her winnings back to our overall donation!

Lynn Zurkowski has taken her $1,640 prize and added it to our donation to make our 2025 donation to Carefor Hospice Cornwall be $3,670!!!!!!

As we celebrated yesterday’s NND 2nd Annual Fundraising BBQ, 1 of the most important fundraisers passed away. Sandy played such a key role in the original fundraising of the Carefor Hospice Cornwall facility itself. She also played an integral role in its annual fundraising targets in order to provide the community with a properly funded hospice that we could all be proud of.

Thoughts and prayers to her family and anybody who had the privilege to work with her. 💕

Mother Nature sure gave us our challenges today but we are always so appreciative of the people that take the time out of their day to join us for our NND Annual BBQ! ☔️💧☔️💧☔️

We were able to sell 164 spots for our 50/50 draw which will see $1,640 given to the winner! The winner is …….🥁🥁🥁…..LYNN ZURKOWSKY! Congratulations Lynn! 🎉

Carefor Hospice Cornwall will receive their half of the $1,640 + the BBQ donations for a total donation of $$2,030!!! 💕
