We are now on the other side of the Solstice a point where light and dark are in balance. Finding balance in all aspects of life is difficult but important, which is why for the month of July I will be offering up one of my most popular sessions, the Chakra Assessment complete with Clearing, Balancing and Boosting at a much reduced rate. The chakra system does for our energetic bodies what the spine does for our physical body in that it helps to assist in strengthening, supporting and aligning our bodies. Although you have thousands of chakras or energy points throughout your body, there are seven MAIN chakras that move energy or Chi through the body, connecting to organs in the body and influencing everything from mood to physical well-being. Our chakras are in a constant state of flux and therefore need to be monitored for mis-alignment, balance, wear and tear etc. I typically recommend this be done every six months, but at the very least once a year! A chakra assessment can tell you where issues are coming up in your life, areas of caution, why particular problems are recurring etc., and a session can clear away the stuff that is dragging you down and make you feel more focused and clear on your path forward. The beauty of energy work is that you do not need to be present in my home for a session to occur. We book a date/time and I perform the session using a surrogate. Shortly after your session is complete, you will receive a report by email of my findings, work done on my end to fix any issues that presented, and any suggestions I received from your guides and mine as I work intuitively to discern universal messages on your behalf. Normally this kind of session would be $90, but for the month of July I am offering the session for $50. Book early so you are not disappointed. It's been a long while since I've posted any cards of the day, although I have continued to work with them daily, and as I am working to slowly integrate myself back after my health issues earlier this year, I thought I'd get the focus back on connecting you all with the energies I encounter.

Today's card indicates a lot of what I've been hearing and feeling from my clients, friends and family lately. We are all struggling this year with low vibrational energies that are holding us stagnant and bringing our energy down. The good news is that we can change it, the challenging news is that you DO have to make a conscious decision to work with the past in order to do so. Just like when you prick your finger physically on a rose, you have to first remove the thorn for the healing to begin, and we too have to remove what is poisoning us, those that are toxic for us, and that which is festering within before true healing can occur. You cannot change the hurt that has occurred, but you can pick up the pieces and begin to move forward again. If you choose to focus on the pain, that is what you will continue to find. BUT, if you choose to pull the thorn out, release the pain and allow the light to permeate your life, you willingly give yourself permission to heal and this will bring about change and allow you to see how strong you truly are.
Your efforts can be supported by the numbers 3 and 6. The card number being 33 indicates a master number or solid life changing event. Releasing the past pain and trauma will certainly be life changing for you at this time. The number 3 represents expression and creativity and the number 6 (3+3=6) harmony and communication. It is time to open up even if just to yourself and express your needs and desires, your hurts and your traumas in order to begin the process.
Planetary wise things have been challenging lately with different planets bouncing off one another and causing all kinds of chaos. Today, Mercury goes retrograde, so this is the perfect time for this opening up and review of what you have allowed to fester within to happen. Mercury is the planet of communication, and as it begins to go backward in the sky, its next clash will be with Venus the planet of love and relationship. So, time to review and re-visit relationships and heal any past hurts or traumas attached to them with this powerful planetary movement to assist you. The new moon which will occur next week on the 24th is a powerful one for blasting away the old and bringing in the new, so, start to analyze what needs to go in order to allow new growth and expansion for you.

It's been a long while since I was guided to get back to drawing cards, but I'm glad to be back at it. I've always loved working with my cards and so hopefully now that I'm working on getting back on track at a pace that is right for me, I can bring in a bit of old normality.

The energy for today is all about having some fun and letting go of inhibitions. The image on the card I drew is one of a witch flying naked and carefree and while I'm not suggesting we all go sky clad and climb on our brooms, if it's your thing.....go for it. The number associated with this card is 21 which in numerology breaks down to the main number of "3". The energy of three is all about tapping into your creativity, expressing yourself and growing through adventure.
I know for myself it has been a year of dealing with medical issues and as anybody knows...that is the farthest from fun. So, the message for all of us at this time, is that life is fleeting and we need to insert some fun and frivolity every now and then to stay in balance. Whatever that is for you, whether it be having a couple of drinks with friends, taking up a line dancing class, skipping through a mall with your BFF, shooting some pool, or just getting out in nature and letting go of all of the boring humdrum of life....get on with it. Do it, enjoy, let go and have some fun.

Blessed Beltane

Blessed Beltane to all my Pagan and Witchy friends as we celebrate the return of the Sun and the fertility of Mother Earth.

This is a great time to plant “the seeds”, ideas of things you’d like to see come to you. Start a new project, plan a much needed getaway, start up a new bank account for a special item etc., etc.

Because this is a fire festival, it brings in passion and creativity. What are you passionate about? Re-dedicate yourself to something (an exercise routine, a club, the craft, career) with passion and conviction.
