I am located on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada, at the north end of Highway 101 in Powell River on the Sunshine Coast. To get anywhere from here I need to take a ferry either to Vancouver Island or to the Lower Mainland of Vancouver. Although being quite secluded, it is a little piece of heaven – the ocean on one side and the mountains and forest on the other.
