I was so lucky to be part of Dr. Keawe Kaholokula’s ceremony today at the John A. Burns School of Medicine. He is the first Native Hawaiian inducted into the National Academy of Medicine for his profound contributions to Hawaiian health. He is currently the Department Chair of Native Hawaiian Health.

Another small town mayor flirts with residential school denialism…

Resolution comes as Sechelt is identified in a letter from Union of BC Indian Chiefs calling out residential school denialism and as it comes to light Mayor John Henderson had a book accused of residential school denialism in municipal hall earlier this year.
