Stress Resilience, Deep Release, Self-Regulation, Internal Strength and Spiritual Training. Vine of Life Alchemy is an offering of extremely practical, pragmatic and functional qigong approach to internal alchemy within a hermetic framework. Working through the physical, energetic and mental mechanics, and cultivating a depth of clarity and understanding about how life works. Hermetic Alchemy is a framework, or system of accumulating stillness and release, and Qigong is the art of change and cultivating vital force. Through changing the way we interact with the body and mind, we become aware of stillness and energy, and learn to harmonize with tension, stress and other hinderances/illness and release/dissolve those things in order to elevate our spiritual senses, as well as bring our health and spiritual sense to new heights. I focus on grounded, bottom up approaches with nervous system and trauma awareness, and from the top down for those who are already open. Focusing 1/3 body, 1/3 energy and 1/3 mind, we find balance in the three bodies and reach equinimity far more easily. Somatic and Gong fu/Taiji based methods open the body and regulate the mind and breath, qigong focused practices creates energetic awareness and mental flexibility, and energy transformation and mind/nature/shamanic practices with Akasha and Non-Dual Light can be worked with for those with experience which will bring about amazing and lasting changes within you and your life.

Opening the neck by suspending the head in the Dissolve Yoga with " Robot Arms".

Once we begin to investigate internal release and saturate the body with open, spacious awareness, simple motions carry such profound implications.

If I am not releasing, the torso/spine and neck will not open...if I am listening inwards and penetrating/releasing any contraction that arises continually, magic happens.

The mind, breath and fascia are not just connected, they are the same, they mirror one another. Once the mind and breath are settled, the qi/prana follows and this "ties together" the body in a wonderful way by hydrating and elasticating the fascial web.

If we are looking and listening for release and moving via release, the whole body, and really our whole being become increasingly unified, so that as one part moves and all parts move.

Thus when I raise the hands, sliding the bones of the arms through the flesh and opening the palms, my entire torso all the way up to my neck releases and opens. The spine slides up ti the skull, and I sustain this process over long periods with consistent practice, even the skull will open and the brain will find release as well!

To say that this is enjoyable/pleasurable is an understatement! I have spent many hours simply raising my arms to open my neck and it has done wonderful things to this area that has been crushed and whipped around a few times!

Was working on some interesting kettle bell flows a little while back as a way to smooth out certain movement patterns and elasticate/strengthen to shoulds and arm/core connection.

When most people try to relax or become still, the "trying" gets in the way.

Its common to attempt to "hold still", or try to subdue the mind by restraining it in some way. The result is that the nervous system becomes either stagnant or overstimulated...like a shaken soda, or one that goes flat...

Its the same with focus and concentration...we push away what comes to mind, and fight to hold our intention upon something...the result is mental exhaustion...

We are so used to clinging and holding, so used to fight or flight, that we try to use our intention to force concentration or relaxation.

Its common to try to visualize or imagine something nice to calm the mind, but that in itself is still an activity, we are merely avoiding what is right here...we might even be training ourselves to imagine instead of see clearly what is real and true.

Instead, we can investigate release to calm the body and mind.

Soften your attention and rest the mind a little more lightly upon what you're focused on, use real objects, or nature to ground your focus, then bring the awareness inwards gently by using the breath, or areas of the body that are enjoyable to rest the awareness within as you soften them.

Intention can steer our mind towards our object of focus, but attention must be trained by resting the mind on something...or else we become drained instead of nourished.

IN-TENSION vs. A(bsent of)-TENSION

Think of concentration like the gathering of condensation, like dew upon the grass...when things become still and receptive("yin"), then there is a gathering inwards that nourishes life("yang").

When we continue to apply sustained attention in a restful, yet attentive way, the result is state of calm abiding, one that is imbued with clarity and profound insight...

When we can begin to use attention by listening inwards and letting go of any intention to "try" to achieve a result, then we can begin to actually move closer to a state of concentration and restfulness...

Our Story

My name is Jordan Lavigne I offer practical holistic spiritual/health guidance and foundational internal cultivation and deep release work through intuitive bodywork, shamanic work, and more recently a beatiful form of internal release work developed through transmission from the practices of the lineages I learn from called “Dissolve Therapy”. From acupressure/reflexology and energy medicine to qigong/neigong and spiritual cultivation, I have explored natural healing through out my life and have particularly enjoyed training in the daoist internal art of taiji and the deep release work of meditation and alchemy. I have been developing my whole life, and have gained a lot from my teachers, which has led to a deep intuition and clarity around my ability to work with the nuances of the nature of the body, mind and spirit. This has led to the development of my practice and the ability to share insight into the nature of reality, the body, the mind and how to live life in a way that honors all of these aspects, and allows us to reach deeper levels of healing and live life fully.
