Every Soul Deep Woman is called into the descent once again before she ascends. Before she reclaims her rightful place in the Universal Puzzle. Every woman committed to her work must go back into the story she endured and learned to master. This is the conscious heroine journey. A journey by choice, not chance. Not because life throws her into the fire once more.
This time she consciously chooses to go back into the memories that marked her life.
In some way it is a return to the trenches where she fought her battles. A return to the wound. But this time around, she is not sleep walking through the landscape of her life. Her return is with a purpose. To remember the lessons she learned when she was in the breaking. As she sets out into the descent, she knows that if she wants to step into her power, she has to find her Voice. The voice that was silenced when she couldn’t be her true self or had to put on heavy masks that made her light invisible to the world.
With reverence, we will re-enter your memories and bring back was once left behind in nights of terror and times of despair. We will only disturb the memories that lead you to reclaiming your Voice that empowers you to do the work you are meant to do.
As you dust off layers of your past, you become aware of your prior experiences. Do you remember the price you paid for exposing your true nature in places where it was rejected? You know how you had to become protective of those places. You just couldn’t bear to be hurt again. So you chose to hide and refused to reveal who you are. In time, you had to put on heavier and heavier masks to hide your true self. Because you had no other option. You had to survive. You had to stay alive. You just could not risk being seen for who you are. It was not safe.
This hiding has its price. Often, it manifests in anxiety and depression and an abandonment of our values and beliefs. Because it becomes too painful to be mirrored by our fear to be our true self.
It happens that we forget our true nature in favor of pleasing others. In favor of staying safe. We diminish ourselves to the point that we no longer remember who we are and what we stand for.
We feel alienated from ourselves and the world. We feel alone and lonely.
But all can change. We can feel again. We can end the numbness and the shame that comes along with not living authentically. One way we can find our way home again is by re-entering our story and giving new meaning to the events that marked our life. We go back to the holy site and begin mining our memories, but this time we give them a new meaning.
In truth, all of us have stories to tell. But it is not our stories that keep us away from our truth. It is the meaning we give to these stories. It is about the way we chose to see these memories. Our perspective is what keeps us victims of our circumstances. And on the same token, it is our perspective that can free us from the shackles of self-doubt and fear, feeling unworthy, broken or not good enough. Not good enough to speak our truth, to be happy, to make a difference to the well-being of the world.
Memories don’t have a voice. It is the meaning you give to your memories that echo through every corner of your heart. They are written in your heart, deep in your cellular memory, dense with emotional energy. When you descend into your story, you are entering the world of the mystical self. This is not the terrain of the mind, but of the heart and soul.
When you descend into your memories, you have the opportunity to re-frame your story in a way that brings healing to your past.
You have the opportunity to speak with the people from your past and have closure, forgive, let go, grieve and integrate pieces of your story into a larger vision of yourself.
So, descend into your being once again. But this time with intention. Embrace all the pieces of your life and make them whole. Love them.
Honor them and let them and let them tell a new story of Self, Soul And Sacred Service........................................................
