DEB’S STORY:
In 2019, I left my 26-year career in the busy financial sector and opened a café in Prince George, B.C.,
together with my daughter, Hannah. We launched a specialty bakery, developing proprietary recipes for
delicious baked goods that are safe for diabetics and celiacs, which are now sold in stores throughout
our region. In 2024, I was introduced to Sugar Free Please products. They had been sold in hundreds of
stores across Canada for several years, but no one in our community carried them. Thanks to unique
ingredients and processes, these fudges and toffees are exceptionally delicious yet safe for diabetics and
celiacs, and provide important dietary fibre. To make a long story short, we were so impressed that we
bought the business! We have relocated production of Sugar Free Please to a beautiful dedicated gluten
free facility in Prince George, B.C., and we look forward to continuing to provide Canadians with these
exquisite delights!

👉 In the face of current economic conditions, we are committed to keeping our products

👉 We are offering an introductory $22 flat rate for shipping, across Canada; free shipping
applies to orders of 6 cases (84 units) or more.
👉 We have discontinued Macadamia Brittle, since ingredients have become prohibitively
expensive.
👉 Please note the new Florentine product, which is a delightful blend of crunchy almonds and
creamy chocolate. June introduced this product not long before we bought the business.

Every once in awhile a concerned dog lover asks what we use for sugar replacements. It has become common knowledge that xylitol is deadly to man's best friend, so we understand the concern! Xylitol is also 7 on the Glycemic Index, and we only use 0 GI sweeteners at Sugar Free Please. So while it is an excellent alternative to sugar, xylitol is not part of the Sugar Free Please ingredient portfolio.
