Defy PD is an 8 week program beginning May 6th that focuses on symptom management, fall prevention and maintaining independence, so that you can thrive with PD.
The program includes live ZOOM classes every Tuesday from 10-10:45am, as well as the recordings from each class that you can do on your own anytime! Each class is led by Katie Yeandle, Registered Kinesiologist, who specializes in exercise for PD.
Classes are a circuit style class, meaning we alternate between high intensity and low intensity exercises that challenge strength, endurance, balance, size of movement, fine motor skills, cognition, and more. Each class begins with a warm up and ends with stretching.
