Notice: Full Road Closure – Main St., Princeton
Main St. will be fully closed and impassible to all traffic from May 8 to June 13, between the approximate hours of 7AM and 6PM. Further updates will be posted as they become available.
Construction work in the center of the roadway makes it impossible to safely maintain even a single open lane during this part of the project. As a result, no through traffic can be safely permitted during these hours.
The contractor is communicating regularly with Emergency Services to ensure no service interruptions. The contractor will also be trying to ensure local traffic (residents) maintain access to their homes; however, this may not be possible at all times and residents are encouraged to use side streets or the park parking lots.
Please follow the marked detour route.
The Princeton & District Museum, Princeton United Church, Sinden Feed & Seed Inc. and Flying Wrenches Automotive can still be accessed off of Highway #2. Princeton Variety and the Canada Post Office can be accessed from the North.
