These two were fussing… until they locked eyes.

And just like that — captivated.

Babies are wired for connection.

Meanwhile, their mamas were in Eagle Arms (Garudasana arms) — one of my favorite postpartum stretches for releasing shoulder and upper back tension.

Because let’s be honest… between feeding, carrying, rocking, and holding, those muscles work overtime.

I love creating meditations — blending creative visualization with gentle nervous system regulation feels like magic to me.

Because when the nervous system feels safe, everything changes.

Woke up to a full winter blizzard.

Blowing snow. Freezing wind. Roads that are not baby-friendly.
So we pivoted.

Instead of cancelling mom & baby yoga, we moved it to Zoom — and honestly? It felt like such a quiet silver lining left over from the Covid days.

In person is always my favorite.

But having the ability to switch without missing connection, movement, or laughter… that’s a gift.

Motherhood requires flexibility. Community can too 🤍

And when it’s -30 and unsafe to drive with a baby, staying cozy at home while still moving together is a pretty beautiful option.

CREATE EVERYDAY ✨

I love this reminder — not just as a phrase, but as a way of living.
We humans are creators by nature.

We create ideas, relationships, solutions, families, art, healing, meaning. And yes… even our words matter.

Research by Masaru Emoto explored how words and intention influenced the structure of frozen water crystals. He observed different crystal structures form depending on the words placed on the container holding the water — suggesting that what we speak into water may change it.

So why not choose words we actually believe in?
If I’m going to sip water all day… it might as well remind me to create ✨
What we focus on, we strengthen.
What we speak, we reinforce.
I love the idea that words — even simple ones — can shape how we feel, think, and show up.

So yes… I’ll happily kiss my water bottle if it’s cheering me on 😄
